Night racing in Richmond is intense and unpredictable. That makes picking a lineup for fantasy NASCAR an exhausting task.

Luckily, we’ve studied the numbers and have a perfect lineup to crush it this Saturday. Before setting a lineup, take a look at this optimal roster of drivers for the Toyota Owners 400.

Fantasy Forecast: Richmond

Tier 1: Kevin Harvick: This is an obvious choice for fantasy owners who have simply paid attention this season. Kevin Harvick has maintained the momentum that earned him a Sprint Cup championship last year, already turning in two victories in 2015.

Given his three-year average of 9.5 at Richmond, Harvick will secure another top-10 finish for owners on Saturday night. With three wins already in his career at RIR, fantasy owners need to snatch him up again this weekend. After all, he was our choice to win this weekend.

Tier 2: Jeff Gordon: What else can be said about Jeff Gordon that hasn’t already been said? The Hendrick driver has guided his No. 24 machine to only two wins at Richmond, but holds the most top fives and top 10s among active drivers.

Coming up just short last season by finishing second twice at RIR, no driver was as consistent as Gordon last year. Look for the Hendrick driver to lead multiple laps and contend for his first win of the season.

Tier 3: Martin Truex Jr.: Martin Truex Jr. hit a speed bump of sorts at Bristol. But with his recent history at Richmond—two top-10 finishes in the last three races—fantasy owners can expect him to return to form at RIR. Ranked fifth in fantasy points this season, don’t leave Truex out of your lineup.

Tier 4: Ricky Stenhouse Jr.: The final two drivers can be crucial in NASCAR fantasy, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is a worthy choice at his price. Currently costing only $12.75 on NASCAR.com and coming off a top-five result at Bristol, Stenhouse will outperform his salary on Saturday night.

Tier 5: Chase Elliott: He may only be participating in five races this season, but Richmond is one of his best chances to throw down a strong result. Finishing second in both Xfinity races last year, Elliott will be the third Hendrick car across the line and shock the entire field. At just $9.00 in his second race, pick up Elliott at the fifth spot.
