NASCAR daily fantasy advice: Kyle Busch is a no-brainer as No. 1 at Bristol

Look guys, NASCAR daily fantasy is not the easiest to predict. But it is far less difficult when you keep it simple. With the recent dominance of Joe Gibbs Racing drivers, picking one makes the process, well, simple.

Kyle Busch is not only driving a JGR Toyota, but he’s also a five-time winner at the track. In case you weren’t aware, that’s tied brother Kurt Busch and Jeff Gordon. The only difference? He’s done so in nine less races than Kurt and 25(!) less than Gordon.

The last two races at Bristol haven’t been Busch’s finest moments. He finished 36th and 29th last season in 2014, but also only took home just one win last year. Busch has already tripled that total in just over half the season.

Laps led will also be crucial with 500 being run at Bristol under the lights. Since the switch over to JGR in 2008, Busch holds the most laps led with 1,444 in 14 races. For those counting at home, that’s over 100 laps per race that Busch ran up front.

Taking into account the recent surge from Gibbs and Busch’s confidence since his return, he’s certainly worth being a No. 1 driver in every lineup. Look for Busch to get out front early and take over the top spot in the Chase with his fifth win, earning a lot of money for DraftKings owners.
