DraftKings is rapidly becoming the top daily fantasy choice for NASCAR fans, and the integration continued this week. Martin Truex Jr., one of the hottest drivers in Sprint Cup, announced a partnership with DraftKings as an associate sponsor this season.

Truex welcomed the daily fantasy website as a sponsor on Twitter.

The No. 78 Chevrolet will don a DraftKings logo on the rear quarter panel this weekend at Watkins Glen. It’s a fitting first race for the two partners with Truex holding three top-five finishes in nine career races at the track.

Following the Watkins Glen race, DraftKings will also be on the car for three more races later this season.

When teams like Hendrick Motorsports, Richard Childress Racing and Joe Gibbs Racing add sponsors, it’s rarely a big deal. But for a single-car team like Furniture Row, this is a huge coo with talks of potentially adding a second team in the future.

DraftKings is a blossoming website that is just now getting into the NASCAR scene. Adding a partnership with a team like FRR that has a driver guaranteed in the Chase and one that has already won a race this season.

Meanwhile, FRR has to hope that it can continue to build on this relationship to possibly have another primary sponsor. With a winning culture and plenty of speed, this might be the first move to a brighter future for the fledgling team.
