The throwback paint schemes just continue to roll in, and the Wood Brothers pulled out all the stops in the nostalgia department. Ryan Blaney’s No. 21 machine will feature not only a huge sponsorship with Snap-On Tools, but also 65 years of history at Darlington Raceway.

Leonard Wood was on hand to show off the unique paint scheme with photos from the oldest active team. Founded in 1950, 21-year-old Blaney carries a lot of tradition on the rearend of his Ford Fusion.

Blaney and the Wood Brothers of course aren’t the first team to reveal new looks for the Southern 500. Stars like Tony Stewart, Danica Patrick, Kevin Harvick and several others will be featuring a retro scheme for the primetime race.

After not being able to qualify for the Kentucky race earlier this season due to rain, Blaney will get another chance to show off his Snap-On sponsorship. Under the lights on NBC, the 2,000 photos on Blaney’s machine will be worth well over 1,000 words.
