Just days after the passing of NASCAR legend Buddy Baker, NASCAR will head to Michigan for the first race since his death. In honor of the 33-year veteran in the sport and longtime broadcaster, the sport will plaster decals on both the stock cars and trucks this weekend.

Vice President of Integrated Marketing Communications David Higdon provides a preview of the stickers for the races.

Baker ran his final race at Michigan for Moroso Racing in 1991 and finished 13th. With his influence on the sport since 1959, it only seems fitting that NASCAR would pay homage to the larger than life character on and off the track.

The decals from NASCAR are a nice touch, but several drivers apparently have plans to remember Baker with paint schemes. Clint Bowyer hinted at a special Darlington look while Dale Earnhardt Jr. is working on a new scheme for the 2016 season.
