Matt Kenseth may have been sitting at home on Sunday, but that didn’t keep him from making a statement. Following the Texas race, Kenseth took to Twitter to sound off on Jimmie Johnson’s late pass with three laps remaining to win the AAA Texas 500.
It wasn’t laced with any hidden meaning. Nope, not at all.

Kenseth is currently serving a two-race suspension for dumping Joey Logano at Martinsville. That move came after he was spun by Logano at Kansas with a win on the line. Logano’s move ultimately eliminated Kenseth the following week and Kenseth believed it was intentional.
Brian France’s thoughts on the move? NASCAR’s Chairman endorsed Logano’s decision on Sirius XM.
“That’s quintessential NASCAR,” France said. “Late in the race, I think that’s a great example of everybody doing probably exactly what they should be doing.”
So how does Kenseth respond? With possibly the best shot across the bow all season on Twitter. Ironically enough, Logano also finished 40th on the afternoon after spinning out early with tire issues.
Matt Kenseth 1, NASCAR and Joey Logano 0.
