NASCAR fans didn’t have to wait for the weekend officially started to see some of the best action at Charlotte Motor Speedway. A Sprint Cup regular in Kasey Kahne and a rising star in Erik Jones provided arguably the best finish of the season at any level of NASCAR.
Kahne pulled out his fifth Camping World Trucks Series in six starts, but Jones wasn’t budging as they crossed the line. Even with Kahne’s truck swerving as they pulled up to the checkered flag, Kahne stayed out front by a .006-second margin. That’s tied for the second-closest margin in Trucks history.

Good luck topping that, Sprint All-Star race. That was one for the ages.
