It’s baaaaaaaaaaaaack. In Jeff Gordon’s final season, the Rainbow Warrior will finally make his triumphant return to the track.

Gordon fans wanted the rainbow paint scheme back for their favorite driver so bad that they even petitioned for the change. On Tuesday morning on CBS This Morning, the curtain was finally pulled off Gordon’s car to unveil the retro look for the Bristol race on Aug. 22.

The No. 24 machine donned the rainbow paint scheme throughout the 1990s and was last used at the 2004 Sprint All-Star race. Gordon won all four of his premier series titles in the paint scheme and hopes to have some of that magic rub off at Bristol.

While he won’t have Dupont across the hood, Axalta Racing made the move for Gordon’s final season. Here’s a look at the unveil and more from the massive moment for Gordon fans.

CBS This Morning also utilized Periscope for the reveal, which can be watched here until it expires.
