Over the last several months, NASCAR drivers have unveiled myriad throwback paint schemes for the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. Clint Bowyer hasn’t revealed his yet, but the Michael Waltrip Racing driver apparently has a special one planned.
Following the announcement of Buddy Baker’s death after battling with cancer, Bowyer revealed that his MWR team was planning his own throwback for Darlington. Bowyer’s will reportedly have a look reminiscent of Baker’s No. 15 scheme.

Whether it’s his blue and white colors from Maxwell House and Peak or an alternate look from 5-Hour Energy, Bowyer should have a memorable look at Darlington. On a track where Baker won the Southern 500 45 years ago, Bowyer’s tribute might steal the show.
