Every week in NASCAR, there is always one car that stands out at the Sprint Cup level. This weekend in Kentucky, Carl Edwards will roll out a paint scheme that is sure to please racing fans of all ages.
With all of the rules changes expected to take center stage, the No. 19 will have a reduced spoiler and several Minions all over the car. The above photo was shared by a member on the NASCAR Reddit and it appears Edwards will use the paint scheme at Kentucky, per the entry list.
Minions is still going strong at the box office, so another push from NASCAR might help it gather a second wind. After all, it helps to have one of the most popular drivers driving the car. If he does a backflip at the end, the new scheme will come full circle for Joe Gibbs Racing.
