Ah, the fall. The season for leaves falling, cool temperatures and, of course, pumpkin spice everything! Whether it’s a latte, beer or cookies, it’s all the rage right now.
This year, General Mills decided not to miss out. The cereal brand got in on the fun with pumpkin spice Cheerios, which have already hit the shelves. In order to market the hot new product, Cheerios will don Austin Dillon’s No. 3 car at New Hampshire next weekend.
(Be prepared, it’s very basic.)
“I love seeing the designs on the track, and saying ‘There it is!’” he says. “It’s not every day that a graphic artist can say ‘My stuff is seen on a national level,’ so it’s something to take a lot of pride in.”
Promoting a product on Dillon’s car right now is perfect placement for any company. With Dillon being in the Chase, he is sure to get plenty of air time as he looks to advance with his first career Sprint Cup win.
Dillon also has 10 top-10 finishes and four top fives this season, so he’ll likely be up near the front at New Hampshire. Given his eye-popping paint scheme that can relate to any millennial, Dillon should certainly make a splash on the track next weekend.
