Late night NASCAR took a turn for the worse early Monday morning as Austin Dillon’s car was shredded after passing the finish line.

Denny Hamlin made contact with Kevin Harvick, sending him down the inside and ultimately making contact with Dillon. The No. 3 car then went airborne, tearing through the catchfence and leaving three fans with minor injuries, per the NBC broadcast.

Dylan Whitlock, a fan in attendance near the start-finish line, captured video of the terrifying crash from his vantage point.
