Landon Cassill runs to NASCAR Hall of Fame following Coca-Cola 600

Apparently 600 miles wasn’t enough for Landon Cassill. After completing the Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday night, Cassill climbed out of his No. 40 Snap Fitness Chevrolet, quickly stretched, then ran another 14 miles to the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Technically speaking, he only completed 562.5 miles of the Coke 600, but that’s still a monstrous feat.

“It was definitely a mental challenge,” Cassill said after the run. “I had to talk to myself a little bit more the last two miles, because it was all uphill. It wasn’t a matter of making it to the end, it was continuing to hold the pace I was holding. You don’t want to let yourself slow down.”

Cassill is a full-time driver at the Xfinity Series level, but didn’t want to disappoint his Snap Fitness sponsors. The 25-year-old driver more than earned his sponsorship by running more than a half marathon after the longest race of the season. That, my friends, is endurance.

He may have finished 39th in the Coke 600, but he finished first in our hearts. Here’s a look at some of the highlights from Cassill’s memorable night in Charlotte.
