The Stewart-Haas Racing stable is nearly all complete with three drivers unveiling their looks for the Southern 500. Kurt Busch and Danica Patrick started the party on Wednesday with Kevin Harvick keeping it raging with a slick scheme harkening back to the late 1970s.

The Bojangles’ Southern 500 might be set for Sept. 4, but drivers clearly can’t contain their excitement for the Labor Day race.

Neither Busch nor Patrick drive for companies that have a deep-rooted history to draw from. Busch’s sponsor, Monster Energy, took a backseat to Haas Automation for his look. Ironically enough, it is one of the newest sponsors in Haas’ F1 team.

Patrick, on the other hand, is riding with a brand new sponsor as well that dates back to the year 2010. You might remember such greats as Jimmie Johnson and Denny Hamlin battling for the title that year.

Yeah, that’s right, they’re still active in the sport and competing for titles.

Nature’s Bakery rolled out a similar livery to Busch’s Haas machine with brown and the signature light blue lining the car.

On Thursday, Harvick partnered with Busch Beer to reveal a Cale Yarborough throwback like no other car in the field. The number might be different, but there’s no doubt Harvick will uphold the tradition of Yarborough at Darlington, where he captured five wins.

SHR has just one win combined at Darlington, but Harvick’s victory two years ago catapulted him to the 2014 championship. With three straight top-five results and an average finish of 2.5 with Stewart-Haas, that classic scheme will be one to watch on Labor Day weekend.
