NASCAR drivers have a voice that resonates throughout the sport to young and old fans alike. How they choose to use said voice is up to their own discretion.
For Aric Almirola, he now has an opportunity to bring happiness to a young fan with an inoperable brain tumor. The driver of the No. 43 machine for Richard Petty Motorsports reached out to a fan on Twitter who shared a Facebook message for Almirola from the ill child’s mother.
Here’s a look at the tweet and Almirola’s reaction.
Please have the family message me and we will do everything possible to see him. https://t.co/1YWf2DxX8B

It’s been just over 13 hours since Almirola’s tweet was sent, so we’ll have to wait to see if and when these two are able to meet. With two children of his own—two-year-old son Alex and one-year-old daughter Abby—the RPM driver knows all about being a role model to young children.
We can hardly wait to see how this interaction goes between Almirola and one of his youngest fans. If it’s anything like Jimmie Johnson and Beau Smith earlier this season, NASCAR fans will need a handkerchief for all the cuteness about to unfold.
